a bit about us
Adam
Adam has been a Montessori teacher for fifteen years and recently also acquired his Forest Kindergarten certification from Cedarsong Nature School in Vashon, WA. Adam emerged from that training motivated to stay connected with outdoor education. He enjoys hiking, children, playing the djembe, and tending to the Shoccoree Ridge Farm homestead.
Insaf
Insaf Abdulla has been teaching for 17 years. Insaf was raised in Kuwait and has lived in the United States since 1991. She has her Associate’s Degree in Office Systems Technology from Durham Tech, a Bachelor’s Degree in Arabic and Islamic studies from Kuwait University, and has her IMC/MACTE (3-6) credential from the Center for Guided Montessori Studies. Insaf is the mother of four daughters and one son.
Ana Catherine
Ana Catherine has been teaching for seven years. Ana Catherine and her husband, John, have one daughter. Her Favorite Quote: “The first duty of an educator is to stir up life, but leave it free to develop.”
Annie
Annie received her AMS Montessori credential from the Center for Montessori Teacher Education in NC in 2013. In addition to her teaching duties, Annie enjoys capturing moments throughout the school days behind her camera. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, hiking, climbing, photography, and playing with her dog Maple.
